But a developer saying: Sorry, it's not quite ready, give us another 90 days doesn't cross that line. Like, sure, if there's a BIG problem or I am dramatically misled about the quality of a game, I might boycott it. Which is a childishly impatient thing to do because of a small delay. ^^The only way this doesn't equal 200,000 sales is if people outright boycott the game entirely. Do you think CA ultimately cares if 50,000 of them come in February and 150,000 come in November, vs a scenario where 150,000 come in February and 50,000 come in November?Ģ00,000 Pre-Orders is still 200,000 sales. Like let's hypothetically say, CA is getting 200,000 Pre Orders. It's not like us, canceling or renewing pre orders en masse changes the the date the game is ready for release.Īdditionally, if you cancel a Pre-Order just to re-PreOrder at a later date.CA doesn't care, they still have your money regardless. The release date of the game doesn't fluctuate based on the number of active pre orders. I guess I don't understand the logic here. NO ONE from CA is going to read or respond to topics here!!
When is the last time anyone official from CA said anything on these forums? Occasionally Grace might pop in and say something, but that was usually involving a patch or DLC release. The CA-Forum relationship isn't passive aggressive. I do think that the forum-Ca relationship is very passive aggressive, you hit the right spot there. If ya want to create a trash flame thread maybe spend a little more time and think of something more creative. For all we know the game could be launch ready now, and they are just fine tuning and play testing to work out bugs. Third, we have no reason yet to believe that there is even going to be a delay. Second, you seem to think that the devs at CA are a bunch of passive aggressive **** who would intentionally delay their release because they already got some preorder sales.
First you're assuming that CA would ever even acknowledge a post on these forums, which we all know they don't. There is alot of things wrong with your OP.
I can't refund what I didn't preorder in the first place!! There is absolutely no reason to preorder a Total War title when you can get the same benefits a week after release.
The DLC was announced alongside a news update for Total War Warhammer 3, where they showed off two new factions for that game, Kislev and Khorne.
